Recently, the key project in Jiangxi Province, Ganzhou East (Lingyun) 500 kV Power Transmission and Transformation Project, which was jointly constructed by Jiangxi Institute, has been successfully put into operation. This project is a key project for energy infrastructure construction during the 14th Five Year Plan period in Jiangxi Province, and it is also the 35th 500 kV substation in the province (of which 27 are constructed by Jiangxi Institute). Construct 2 sets of 750 megavolt ampere transformers, 2 circuits of 500 kV outgoing lines, 4 circuits of 220 kV outgoing lines, with a total length of 88.33 kilometers for the 500 kV line.
The smooth operation of the project can achieve the optimization and upgrading of the regional grid structure, effectively improve the power supply capacity of the Central China regional power grid, and significantly enhance the stability of the Ganzhou East and West power grids. Equivalent to providing daily electricity security for nearly 3 million households, greatly improving power supply reliability and regulation flexibility, becoming an important support for the surrounding power grid hub.
Since the launch of the project, Jiangxi Institute has always aimed to create a national high-quality engineering project, and has solidly carried out engineering excellence planning. In the construction of the project, it has integrated the red cultural architectural style of the Gannan Soviet Area, high standard asphalt pavement, green reinforced gabion retaining wall ecological slope protection, and applied the province's first 500 kV frame column anchor bolt foundation, demonstrating the deep integration of engineering technology, culture, and environmental protection.
Faced with the challenges brought by soil erosion in the red soil of Fujian and Jiangxi provinces, the project team of Jiangxi Institute has developed and applied ecological packages, four season planting and other technologies, deepened and summarized the typical experience of "three-stage" greening of transmission lines, ensured the harmonious coexistence between transmission lines and the natural environment, and made every effort to create a high-quality demonstration project with "excellent design, advanced technology, energy conservation and environmental protection, and significant benefits".
Since the 14th Five Year Plan, Jiangxi Institute has been deeply involved in the energy transformation of Jiangxi Province, and has successively undertaken national energy mutual aid demonstration projects such as the Fujian Jiangxi Back to Back Interconnection. It has also provided high-quality performance for external power supply projects such as Yazhong to Jiangxi and Nanchang to Changsha, helping Jiangxi Power Grid fully integrate into the Central China ultra-high voltage ring network, achieving a historic leap from scratch and from existence to excellence. It has provided strong technical support for improving Jiangxi's "one core, four wings, and five ring network" architecture, helping to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, and promoting the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
