Spontaneous Lunch Builds Lasting Office Bonds

The Maotong office is a place full of happy moments. On the afternoon of 5 December, the office smelt of delicious food. This made everyone feel happy. It was a casual cooking session with my colleagues, which we arranged at the last minute.

Mr Xu, who is usually busy, took charge of the kitchen himself, showing how good he is at making several traditional home-style dishes. Everyone who was there kept saying how great they were. Meanwhile, Manager Cui cooked his famous stew of corn and pork ribs, which he cooks slowly. The ribs were cooked slowly and gently, which made them soft and tasty, and the corn soaked up the delicious sauce. This dish was a unique mix of sweet and savoury, leaving a flavour that was both delicious and memorable. As a nice surprise, our partners sent us a box of delicious pickled vegetables. This fresh side dish was just what was needed after all that rich food. Colleagues got together, relaxed and had a laugh, putting workday fatigue to one side. This event was simple but important. It made the team members closer together and showed how friendly our partners are. The whole office felt like one big, happy family.
