Introduction to Lightning Protection Tower

2023-03-23

Introduction to lightning protection tower:
Lightning protection towers are mainly used for lightning protection projects in various buildings, especially in oil refineries, satellite launch stations, gas stations, chemical plants, coal mines, explosive depots, and flammable and explosive workshops. Lightning protection towers should be installed in many buildings due to climate change and increasing lightning disasters. The service conditions of lightning protection towers are as follows:
1. Basic wind pressure: w0=0.4 and 0.7KN/m2;
2. Seismic fortification intensity: 8 degrees and less areas;
3. Foundation bearing capacity: 100 and 200 KN/m2;
4. Ice coating thickness: ≤ 10mm;
5. Perpendicularity: ≤ 1/1000
6. Basic form of GFW1: JA-4, JA-7, JB-1, JB-5, JB-7, JB-9, JB-10, JB-13
7. Basic form of GFW2: JA-6, JA-8, JB-5, JB-7, JB-11, JB-13, JB-16
8. Wire diameter of stay wire: Φ 7.8mm
9. Stay wire span L (m): 40-200
10. Large arc f (m): 1.6/2.4/3.2/4.8/6.0/8.0
11. Wire weight (Kg): 11.9 -- 59.3
12. Height of GFW stay tower: 20m, 25m, 30m, 35m, 40m
13. Suitable lightning rods for GFW stay tower: THZ-05C, YBZ-03T, YBZ-07T, O.MEX60
14. GFW tower ground resistance: less than 10 ohms
15. GFW tower grounding material: YBD-01T fired grounding module 10 pieces, resistance reducing agent 10 packages
16. GFW material: hot-dip galvanized angle steel
17. GFW main materials: L50 * 5, L63 * 6, L70 * 6, L80 * 8, L90 * 8, L100 * 100
18. GFW diagonal material: 40 * 4

19. GFW Foot Pins: Φ 16mm
